Graduation requirements
To be a candidate for graduation and receive your diploma and transcripts, you must meet the following requirements:
- Complete all required Basic Science courses.
- Complete all required clinical clerkships.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
- Submit all final and original administrative documents to the Office of the Registrar.
- Submit passing scores on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK.
- Submit either a passing Step 2 CS result or, after March 2020, an approved Pathway 3 certification from ECFMG.
- Apply for graduation through the by the deadlines listed in the Graduation memo.
- Pay the $500.00 graduation fee when submitting the Graduation Application (This one-time fee is required of all students and is not contingent on attending the commencement ceremony).
- Satisfy all outstanding balances owed to the University.
Graduate residency training
Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà graduates pursue residency positions in prestigious hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. Shortly after graduation, these newly practicing Doctors of Medicine (M.D.s) begin their internships alongside their U.S. counterparts, working in numerous specialties and diverse residency training programs.
